Overview
Catgent merges cozy gameplay and token utility. Holders use $CAT inside the DApp to decorate rooms, improve reward multipliers, and participate in tax-funded reward distribution.
The design keeps front-end interaction simple while preserving scalable on-chain accounting through tier logic and Merkle-based claims.
DApp User Loop
Step 1: Hold $CAT to qualify for levels and base weight.
Step 2: Buy furniture with $CAT to increase reward boost.
Step 3: Improve effective weight for future rewards.
Step 4: Claim from funded reward epochs using proofs.
Network and Wallet
Catgent runs on Base. To use the live DApp, connect a wallet that supports Base and switch to the Base network in your wallet settings.
Base uses ETH as gas. Keep a small ETH balance on Base to pay transaction fees (buying furniture, claiming rewards, and other on-chain actions).
Your gameplay assets and actions are tied to your wallet address, so always use the same wallet if you want to keep your progress and reward history in one place.
Rewards Model
Each epoch is funded with ETH or token rewards and a Merkle root representing user allocations. Claims are validated on-chain against the root, which keeps gas bounded even with many holders.
Off-chain calculation can combine holder tiers, furniture boosts, and campaign rules, then publish a single root for trust-minimized distribution.
Tokenomics and Pricing
The $CAT economy follows a fixed-supply model of 100,000,000,000 tokens (18 decimals). Holder levels are tied to how much of supply your wallet holds.
Furniture pricing is designed to stay coherent with the token economy, so progression remains fair between smaller and larger holders.
AI Assistant in the DApp
The in-app chat is designed to answer only Catgent-related topics: $CAT utility, level strategy, furniture boosts, and reward mechanics.
You can use it as an in-game guide to understand how to optimize your room and expected reward outcomes before you spend $CAT.
$CAT and ETH Roles
$CAT: utility token used for furniture purchases and progression inside the room system.
ETH on Base: only used for gas fees. You do not spend ETH to buy furniture in the current model; furniture spending is done in $CAT.
This separation keeps gameplay economy in $CAT while preserving standard network fee behavior in ETH.
Furniture and Progression
Furniture increases your reward boost. Some items can require higher holder levels, so accumulating and holding $CAT unlocks better room upgrades over time.
Your room is not just cosmetic: each furniture decision can change your long-term reward performance.
Advanced players can plan spend vs. boost efficiency to optimize growth pace.
Claiming Rewards
Rewards are distributed in epochs. When an epoch is live, eligible holders can claim their share directly from the DApp.
Your claim size depends on level, boost, and allocation logic for that epoch. Always confirm your wallet is connected to Base before claiming.
User Safety Tips
Use only official Catgent links and verify contract addresses published by the project. Never sign unknown approvals from untrusted pages.
Keep seed phrase/private keys offline and use wallet security features (hardware wallet, phishing protection, transaction simulation) whenever possible.
Roadmap
Potential next features: NFT room snapshots, seasonal furniture drops, dynamic quests, richer analytics, and social room discovery.
